Why so cheap with the info-bar real-estate?
So I purchased this yesterday, downloaded the North American map (USA and Canada - I guess someone there doesnt realize Mexico is considered NA, too). Anyway, I put the CoPilot up next to my Garmin Nuevo 2595LM, and went on a trip to the daughters house about 60 miles away. Both mapped almost the exact same route - interesting that CoPilot mapped the way I like to go. While both give good instructions, the CoPilot was a little more articulate about them, and gave better warnings when a turn was coming. While I saw the posted speed limit on the Garmin I never did see it on the CoPilot. Which brings up my main gripe so far with CoPilot - why are they so cheap with the info-bar real-estate?
The Garmin gives Speed, Arrival time, miles to go, altitude, and a couple of other items, while on CoPilot I can choose one of those items for the left side of the info-bar and one for the right side? Come on! This is running on an iPad Pro and I get one choice for each side? This is inexcusable. The 5" wide screen of the nuvi compared to the 12 inch screen of the Pro? I personally would like to know why we cant have more choices on the infobar. This travesty knocked two stars off my review.
Other than that, I dont see any problems with CoPilot, but I still have a ways to go (pun intended!)
