Saved us in Italy!

I generally just use this app in North America but just before last trip to Italy I decided to add the west Europe maps. Wow were we glad we did that! The maps pretty much worked flawlessly into small obscure places all over Tuscany and Umbria and Elba Island. We used it almost 100% of the time even walking and we never had mobile data running ever. It worked great and saved us from speeding and photo radar which are plentiful all over Italy...thanks Copilot!

Change for worst!!

They made a mess out of it since they spoiled a good app in order to put in it all kind of advertising! It is more complicated and less friendly using! Avery regretful!

Why

Am wondering why the updates have now moved me to an "internet connection required" from being available off-line. Cant use it for travel now. DUH!

Très efficace

Beaucoup doptions

Missng streets.

I bought this app 3 days ago from Canadas capital city. This app not for canadian because mssing so many areas around Ottawa. Not worth it to buy this app. Even old streets (2 years old) too missing.

Not that accurate for me

I didnt use yet but just setting my home and my work show that CoPilot is not ok for me. Showing my home in almost the next street and saying near a street that is far????. When doing the route to my work, its showing me a route that I have to make a big detour because it doesnt know that I could take an overpass to cross the highway??? The really reason that a like it, its because I like the display. Sorry, I will try it in 6 month to see if this is update

Great GPS with one majorly annoying feature

This is a good gps thats accurate, easy to use and gets you to your destination. The only reason Im not giving in 5 stars is because of its frustrating "edit trip" feature. Two reasons I have a hard time editing trips: 1) as soon as you drag a part of your route and try to drag the path its as if the app has a mind of its own and goes careening off the screen and overshoots your target. Its too sensitive to use on such a small screen, especially when you have to scroll off-screen to get to your target. 2) EVERY TIME you make an adjustment the app recalculates your new route and zooms out to show your overall trip, Now you have to zoom back in to verify your alteration, and to make your next edit. It would be nice if the app did not zoom out on each individual edit. So combine the overly sensitive trip editing feature with constantly having to zoom back in on the route and you have an utterly frustrating experience for a user who wants to create custom maps. However, if youre the type of person who is content to just let the app do it all then this is a 5 star gps.

Have to agree with other Canadians . . .

So problematic when trying simply to search for a nearby place. At best in Canada is iffy. Really like the program, the user interface, but when it comes down to it, usability is weak in Canada.

Co-Pilot Premium...

I just purchased copilot premium, so far I think I will be happy with it, some of the names of places and ferries are wrong, the only downfall is that when there is an update it deletes all previous maps and downloads the new update Using up 2 and 1/2 gigs of my expensive Internet. Peter Susin

Upgrade

You should take a look at what you did on the last redesign!!!! No google !!! Cant find addresses!!! Keep bugging freezing and on an on Wow did you see what you did ????

It is ok

I miss the more intuitive menu that MotionX Drive used. They dont support their app any longer so Copilot seems to be the next best choice.

Amazing app

Relied on this app on our recent trip to California.

OUTSTANDING APP!!!

I stopped using any other form of GPS about a year ago when I started using this app. All Im going to say is it is well worth the cost! There are a couple of features I would like to see though. The parking or "find my car", I would like to see a shortcut on the main dashboard of the app so I dont have to go all the way into settings to activate it. One last point and its the one that is preventing me from giving the app 5 stars, I have installed the app on my iPad as well as my iPhone. I love to use the iPad to plan my route due to the larger screen, but there is no sync function that allows me too transfer my route to the iPhone or share with friends that have purchased the app as well. Please...please...please enable this function. Thank you for a great app!! Im still using Co-Pilot as my #1 GPS and I let people know how great it is and works.

Love it!

I first used it on a trip to New Zealand and it never steered me wrong. Now, this version is helping me get to know my new environment since I made my move to the States. I cant say enough good things about this app! The updates always bring me the most useful maps and information. And I love, love, love that I can run it offline. Its an awesome app :)

Worst than all

True, its worse than all.

Not user friendly

Especially for a non tech person.

The best on iPhone

I plan to explains this review, but in the mean time I will say that I only have one primary complaint. Entering an address is difficult. There is now integration for the sharing feature that would allow one to open the address in the app from another app. In addition, the whole address can not be entered at once making copy and paste (which isnt always available) very convenient. It says "paste while address" but that never works. The work around when there is no copy and past is to open in the Apple maps app. Then start route, then stop it, then the address can be copied. Unfortunately this requires internet access... Then paste in notepad and then go back and forth, copying the parts to past into the right fields. It is very cumbersome. In addition the app doesnt seem to find addresses that one isnt close to. If you are driving an hour to an airport in another city, you have to start the route to the city, then search for the airport again when you get close.

Great all in one

It is an app that allows me to travel with less gadgets that can malfunction at the worst possible time. App is easy to use and so far has been outstanding in directions and execution.

Slowest map download ever ruins upgrade

I bought this app for the nice quality off line maps and routing. The latest rev 10 is slow. I have taken eight hours to download maps. I have a 50M internet. It constantly stops loading. Very bad. Dont update.
