Client service is poor

Its been 6 email I send them to know why I got wrong GPS position for my house and no body answer. So why buy something when no body answer? Even worst they block my email so I cannot send them question.

For Canada especially Ontario a lot of features missing

If you can add "clearview turn add speed limit " this app can get 5 stars and also "live traffic can show images instead red/yellow lines

Canada map is full of bugs

I am sure it is probably the best program to use for the US but Canada maps are inferior in quality. Many lakes and rivers disappear when zooming in. For example zooming in on city of Ottawa makes Ottawa river disappear. Same happens to Montreal and many other places.I guess they are just not mapped at higher resolution maps. Park borders are not mapped at all. The best you can count on is POI mark with the name and many are missing completely. Surprisingly just scroll down same map across the border and everything works just fine.

Best navigation progrm

Simply the brst

Disappointed

Makes too much mistakes for my liking.

Best Motorcycle GPS

I have a silly number GPS and GPS nav apps on my iOS devices. There is some redeeming feature, and often stand out feature for each of them. This not the prettiest, there is no three dimensionality in its in the maps, and the maps themselves are not the best in my home region of Vancouver island. HOWEVER, I am in my third summer of using iOS apps to navigate while travelling on my bike. I would typify my style as light dual sport. Meaning, I fear no gravel or dirt road, but avoid single track. CoPilot has been with me on these adventures, along side of tomtom, igo, motionX, navfree; and non-directing apps Gaia, pocket earth, and allstays. Only CoPilot has a specific motorcycle vehicle profile. I also own a stand alone Garmin nav device. (Dont get me started). I find the combination of pocket earth, allstays (maps thousands of campgrounds and more - well worth the money) and CoPilot to yield the most satisfying results. Youre nuts if you dont have real good physical maps to plan on, by the way. Like every computer program, this is a tool that will respond best to your best instructions. Copilot offers the best manual routing by far! You can drag routes, and modify or remove waypoints way more easily than other apps. Just returned from an Oregon outback adventure where we meandered across the tops of inland and coastal mountain ranges. At every decision point, copilot saved us a stop to consult the map books. I recently bought tomtom because of its new winding roads planning option. It is early days, and I hope it improves. I would not suggest it over CoPilot. If CoPilots app continues to improve, and maybe takes a harder look at being a motorcycle community pleaser, it can rise head and shoulders above other apps. As a final note, they are very responsive to map errors Ive sent in. Please take the time to submit these, whatever GPS you choose. Community input from a legion of users on the ground is a great way to eliminate map errors and oversights.

Super App!

I love CoPilot Live! It works very well and offers a lot of functionality for the price. Id recommend it to anyone!

Excellent

Very accurate better than tomtom doesnt use any data unless authorized, great gps quarter of the price of normal units. Only draw back is that copilot signage sometimes doesnt match actual road signage at exits ( ex. Road will say exit is I-83 North, but copilot will label it as I-83 West) but if you turn when it tells you too youll be just fine!

New instillation

Just install Copilot on my IPad mini. It doesnt work properly.Cant reach support. Waist of 20 bucks.

Not good but expensive

Hi there, this app could not find many addresses in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It gave inaccurate results, I feel disappointed when I bought this app... It should have google search when connecting to internet to give accurate results... Not happy with the money I paid...

Awesome app!! Great when traveling.

Can you add electric car charge port locations?

Premium GPS - get what you pay for

Best offline map capability. Accurate and easy to use.

Crash

This latest version crashes on startup. Useless to me right now. Im using it on an iPhone 4 with latest iOS. I cant tell you how many times Ive had to submit map corrections, from missing streets that have been around for five years or so to wrong addresses on the opposite end of the road. I use this in the greater Toronto area and surrounding areas.

Waste of money

Save your money, this software is not intuitive maps in greater Vancouver are lacking in detail, lot of roads are shown in the (water) trying to enter an address is a problem, interacting with this program while driving will inevitably end up in a traffic accident.

Decent for the price

Could use more map updates. Doesnt usually like to use addresses from my contacts, so have to enter addresses manually. Tells me I have to pay for live traffic yet support told me its automatic with the purchase I made of the app. Im happy with how it recalculates route if I dont follow all the directions and make a rogue turn. Worth the price

Slightly worse than google maps

Possibly the worse GPS app out there. The first time I used it I entered the correct address and what it understood instead was "please guide me to a spot, near a field, in the general region of the address, only 15 minutes away from the actual address." I thought it was a fluke you know? Maybe because it was a small town in Quebec but no, it consistently brings you to the approximate neighbourhood of your destination but never to the actual address. Also the point of interest feature is about as functional as a broken doorknob, it constantly pesters you with "Attention, point of interest!" but the POI is irrelevant to your search. Looking for a restaurant? No problem, enjoy this hotel or service station. Please take this off the market. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

Great App….except for the last half kilometre

I have been using this for about 6 months now on my iPhone 5, both in the USA (a lot) and in Canada. Generally its pretty good, the off-line capability really saves money on roaming charges etc. I am also a (standalone device) Garmin, Apple Maps, and Google Maps user. I use CoPilot primarily to avoid roaming charges when traveling. I find the CoPilot UI pretty good, but not great. While it walks you through input addresses, it is not “intuitive” about starting, stopping, changing, going back to home page. I find I end up pulling over to fiddle with it. Not that big a deal, but maybe its my Garmin experience getting in the way. Not all maps are up to date. I recently found a bunch of roads missing at a NJ University that has been in existence for 100 years. CoPilot plopped my destination in the middle of a freeway about a mile from where I needed to be. Finally, and most puzzling and maybe related to the above issue. I find this problem very, very consistent, more that 75% of the time. When I get very close to my destination, it misses it! Often by 100-200 yards and on occasion by 500 yards. It’s very weird. I’ve done side-by-side with my Garmin, Apple Maps and Google maps. Those 3 nail the destination dead on. CoPilot blows right by and then announces arrival when I am 100-200 yards past. I have a feeling it may be related to a Guidance Turn Warning setting. Finally, occasionally the Voice Navigation just disappears. Don’t know why, cannot reactivate it. I then have to reinstall and it starts working again. Other than these quirks, I still find it useful and worth the money.

Go where you want!

Have no fear. Go where you want. CoPilot will get you back home!

Ok but maps not current

Its great that it doesnt cost me large amounts of data, however, the maps are not current for Canada. Addresses that have existed for 5+ years arent available, so I have to google map the last part of my trip which is really annoying.

App is ok. But Canada map is not usable

It ask for a zip code in Canada. There is no zip code in Canada. And postal code is not working. Adding address most of the time wont work. Very little POI. Not usable.
